Please email us stories that you have witnessed, or heard from others about people’s funny experiences as immigrants. Here we are using the word immigrant to talk about people who had experiences outside of their home countries – no matter how short the stay was/is.

• Your stories may be of any length you prefer.
• You can submit more than one story.
• You can email us story@bdportal.com in Bangla, English, or in Bangla using English alphabets. As long as we can read and understand it, you are fine. You may also attach pictures if you think that will add to your story.
• The winner will get US $ 100.00 and there will be two runners up prizes, each worth US $ 50.
• All the submission will be published on our website bdportal.com so you may share with others.
• There will be 3 selected judges and 2 organizers who will have combind 80% of the votes and 20% votes will come from online users to select the winners.
• We have taken on this initiative to commemorate the Bangla New year 1416. So the deadline will be the end of Grishma Kaal 1416 - June 14 2009.
